not sure if this should go in the recordings section, but it's not really bass-specific or anything. uh anyways i listen to a bunch of different music, but metal has always been harder to get into. i kindof stumbled upon misery signals a while ago and bought 'controller,' and i'm crazy about that album (weird cause i don't care for their earlier stuff). i guess they have what i like (clean and accurate, metric modulations, melodic breaks, sick drumming) and none of the stuff i find ridiculous (pig squeeling, playing too fast, generally sounding amateur). so not knowing exactly what misery signals is, could anyone who's familiar with the band point me to other bands in the same vein (or of the same caliber at least). kind of vague, but uh...yes.
