I'd have to say 80's band Haircut 100. Haircut 100 bass player Les Nemes and I are FB friends. He's really a great guy who's answered a lot of my questions and loves to talk shop. I'd also have to add Spandau Ballet, New Radicals, and Gene Loves Jezebel.

Taylor Swift.
Some Katy Perry.
And "I Do Not Hook Up" by Kelly Clarkson. The music video is funny.

I wear my Rush and Yes (Hemispheres and Tales especially) love with pride!!!

...except around females

A female friend (very good friend, wouldn't turn into anything) was messing around on my iPod and listened to Elephant Talk...

Coming out of the prog closet was hard, but luckily she accepted me for who I was.

Pretty much all of my music is very goody. Red Hots, Primus, ect. There was a time when I looked down on this music as stupid, those were dark times. It disturbs me that all people can't be as musically liberated as us.

Everyone only remembers the video with the little girl in the bee outfit, but that Blind Melon CD has a lot of energy...

My guilty pleasure of late has been some easy listening stuff I swore years ago I'd never like, words coming back to haunt me. I actually like some stuff like Bert Kaempfert, Les Baxter, Esquivel, Doris Day and you get the picture.

I love ABBA. I also dig a lot of 70's "lite" rock.

Zippora and Ace Of Base, mainly. I also found Payphone to be a surprisingly enjoyable song.

80's music, with the most painfully embarrassing song being Karma Chameleon by Culture Club. I blame too much VH1 when I was a kid, but I bloody love that song and video.

I only feel ashamed when I say jt on TB, but The Resistance by Muse.

I don't see why it gets so much flak. Sure, it isn't like their older stuff, but it shows evolution and experimentation. And the Exogenesis Symphony? Amazing.

Tears for Fears
Air Supply
Ann Murry
Frank Sinatra
Ratt
Poison
House of Pain

-Those two hit songs by The Pet Shop Boys
-A few songs by The Culture Club
-I like some Barry Manilow
-A few songs by Lionel Richie
-"Borderline" by Madonna
-"The Rose" by Bett Midler
-"Informer" by Snow (anyone remember this guy? LOL)

...I must look like a big douche after this list.

I used to be embarrased to admit I like Elton John. Not anymore. Big Elton John fan here.

I'm a big metal and punk rock guy, that's why I'm embarrassed to admit I like this stuff.

Bread
Three Dog Night
Chicago
Player
Elton John
Adele

I'm surprised at the number of people listing artists an affinity to whose music, in my book, would be perfectly non-embarassing.
