I thought this was a great idea for a thread, I totally pulled it from another forum (not this website)
I read the rules, this seems to be acceptable but I do apologize if its against the talkbass rules!
Please reply to this message with any bands or acts that you cant stand but respect. Have fun

the following opinion is not my own, but my brother can't stand Rush for the same reason, he respects their musicianship but can't stand Geddy's voice...I for one like Rush

It seems like almost everyone likes them, their success sort of turns me off to them...if that makes any sense. It is pretty safe to say they are the most successful band of all time and I respect them for that. All though I don't 100% dislike them I do have a few of their tunes on my computer but its just seems like they are at the top of every best 100 list revolving around music and idk they just aren't for me. I can see myself liking them when I'm an adult though.

Linkin Park. I have nothing good to say about them either.
However, the last i checked they are touring & recording a heckuva lot more than i am, so....

| | | | The Doors.
Yeah, I know. But uuuuuugggggghhhh!
I'll acknowledge that they were a pioneering band with a visionary leader... as long as I don't have to listen to them.
