| | | | I am SOOO jealous of you guys who have been fortunate enough to see Paul McCartney. I've seen a decent share of great shows though.
Bob Dylan
Willie Nelson (twice!)
John Mellencamp (same show as Dylan and Willie)
Mike Gordon
Buckwheat Zydeco
Sam Bush
And a lot of Christian artists like David Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Toby Mac, and John Reuben among others. I also saw NSYNC when I was little.

The Mingus show I saw was in the mid-70s though. He didn't use or need an amp, it was in a tiny club.
How many thousand lines does one TB post allow anyhow?

Best all time is Slayer/Anthrax/Megadeth in '91 at Red Rocks.
Foo Fighters at Red Rocks was rad too. 3rd row.
All of the Dinosaur Jr shows have been pretty epic.
All of the J Mascis acoustic shows were awesome.
All the Mudhoney shows were awesome.
Just recently, Japandroids blew me away.
Quicksand was epic.
Supersuckers over and over.
Sleep was the loudest I've ever seen/heard.

Dead Low Tide ruled it, but never got to see MCD
Pavement was really good.
Lucero was stellar.
Jawbreaker was great.
Hot Snakes ruled... Never saw Drive Like Jehu
By that same token, Rocket from the Crypt ruled... Always. |

And really, there are more, but I am getting tired of thinking about it.
When I was young the Mississippi River Festival (East of St. Louis) had top acts every week and it cost $2 to get in (lawn seats). We went all the time.
Also had a bouncer friend in Stl (Contemporary Productions) that got me great seat to lots of great acts. And I have just continued to go to concerts when I can!
Lately my blues group is gigging so much that seeing other live acts has been tough.
