Found this list of banned album covers. Interesting how they started out as being to sexy and then became blood/gore/violence.

Electric Ladyland & Ritual de lo Habitual are my favorites.

Roger Waters - "The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking". The original America version had the naked lady's rear showing, just like the import. Ahh, but the prudes didn't like it and that's why the black rectangle was added to cover the crack.

What's funny is that in some cases, the censored versions ended up becoming collectable, usually after the album was reissued with the original artwork. I seem to remember this happening with the 1st Amendment cover of Ritual de lo Habitual, and the Butthole Surfers (er, excuse me, B***H*** Surfers) Electric Larryland.

Check it man, I ordered a Cannibal Corpse CD. the cover is banned in the united states, Australia, and certain parts of europre. When I got the CD it was wrapped in that white papper butchers put meat in. THATS FRIGGIN METAL!!
