Having read the comics I'm going to essentially go see this to see Michael Cera with a Rick fighting Brandon Routh (from superman) with a mustang.

With musical special effects and videogame sounds.

Someone finally has made a movie that caters to all my interests.

i freaking LOVED the Scott Pilgrim books. i'm a huge geek, and one of my Woman Find That SO Attractive interests (obsessions?) is graphic novels. the books have SO much stuff in them tho..... i don't know how they're gonna get a sixth of what makes them awesome into a 2 hour movie.

..... Kicka$$ was done really well tho..... even tho they destroyed Wanted.

.... what's wrong with stupid movies? some of the most enjoyable flicks are dumb if you think about them. the og Matrix? harvesting humans that you have to keep convinced the world is still peachy keen for heat? if only we had huge heat producing animal alternatives. somebody called that version The Mootrix. CowErGizer batteries forever yo.

i'd say it looks more ridiculous then stupid. and since the books were ALL about a sense of the ridiculousness, to me that is a VERY good thing.

and why hate on The Cera? he's just so freaking.... cute. and i think a pretty cool choice to play Scott Pilgrim.
