And size doesn't matter so much...provided you know what to do with what you've got

With the longer neck you can generate more force with an over head swing to crush a guitards skull in one swat. Of course, once you commit to the swing you leave yourself wide open, so make sure you're standing behind the guitard and he's looking the other way. (Bright stage lights help here too.)
