As in...camping. Yep, as I said in another thread I was gonna take my Jazz and little Bassman 25 camping with us. I did it. We were in the van at an RV site in Table Rock State Park, SC for four nights. Perfect weather.
Ya'll, I can only say that I recommend this as therapy for all players. I mean, it was pure tee surrealistic standing there in front of the fire, smoke drifting by, staring into the flames, then looking up at the stars, and playing bass. In the headphones, of course. Looking at a fire is always thought-provoking anyway, but adding playing to it was mystical. Not the same as strumming an acoustic guitar by the fire. I've done that. This was different. Never played electric by the fire, and being in the headphones made it even more mesmerizing. Highly recommended.
LOL, I got my bass out yesterday to practice, and guess what?......it smells like smoke. I reckon I oughta clean it a bit. Heh, heh.
