Bass Case

Idk if this is the right spot for this post, but from what I could find this section fit the best. I am looking for a very durable and protective case (hard or soft/hard.) Everywhere I seem to look it says the case is not for anything more than back and forth traveling and the Gator I bought 1. is starting to fall apart after less than a year of owning it and doing nothing more than back and forth from church and a few friends houses 2. the foam inside the case went soft by the neck so the bass shifts back and forth when picked up and sat down ( currently I am using a tennis ball that is cut in half to eliminate any extra room for movement.) Honestly I don't trust the case and would like to get a replacement for a decent price ($100 or so.) Any case that can fit a J bass will work, preferably something fitted for a J bass so no movement can occur whatsoever and that has a place for little accessories and a strap. Any ideas?

Hi.

I guess then Peli is out of the question as well.

One option is an ATA (style) case. The bulkiness and heavy weight are turn-offs, but the protection is superb.

With $100 You're SOL as far as high quality cases go.

If the ABS on the Gator is still good (it can be welded if it's cracked), why not replace the hardware and redo the intenal structure a bit. Way cheaper than a new case.

Regards
Sam
