bass clubs

Sign in to disble this ad
hi i'm new here i hope i am posting in the right forum. i have noticed in the basses forum there are alot of threads that are like

"fender p bass club" or "warwick club" or "spector club" etc.

i was wondering what is the point of these clubs, most say that u get a member number and u need to post pics of your gear and stuff. anyways i was just curious as too what is the purpose of these groups. are they there to show off gear and talk to other fellow musicians who own the same basses?

if anyone could tell me it would be very much appreciated.

Yeah basically it is just a good excuse to show off your gear and connect with other TBers who have the same tastes in equipment. They are simply for fun and some (like me) add the numbers to our signature lines for fun. Some people post on those threads and don't care about a number and some request one...just whatever floats your boat.
