Bass computer program

Is there a computer program that will allow you to isolate the bass from all the other instruments, making it easier to hear and learn the bass line? Would like to be able to also slow it down without changing the pitch. Thanks in advance.

You can fiddle with the eq to boost the bass freq so you can listen to it clearly. I'd suggest using headphones instead of speakers, its always easier to pick out the basslines on headphones than speakers.

If you want a software try out Transcibe...

Performatrack

You might like this: http://us.performatrack.com/

The app is free, works well on PC or iPhone/iPad. Tracks are $3 each.

(Disclaimer: I work for the company that makes the music tracks.)

The only one I'm aware of that actually isolates the bass is Jammit, it can also slow down the tunes.

Thanks guys I've checked out all these sites and I think the "songsurgeon" might be exactly what I'm looking for, seems to have all the features that I would need to learn songs from a variety of sources. I use you tube a lot to listen to songs I want to cover and trying to pick out the bass line is sometimes impossible, I think this program will make it much much easier to learn. Thanks Stumbo
