Sunday 20th November, Life Café, Manchester, England.
If you’re into Bass, you’ll need to show your face!
International artists from the bass playing world will descend upon the Life Café Manchesterfor a full day of low-down bass madness.

This is warming up to be a great event and Bassists so far include:
John Lester - Steve Lawson - Trip Wamsley - Janek Gwizdala - Stevie Williams - Michael Manring - Jon Reshard - Linley Marthe - Lorenzo Feliciati – Jan-Olof Strandberg.

The format of the day will be:-
Doors: 11:30
£10 pre book/£13 on door.
First Acts: 12:30
Sets: of 45min or 55min throughout the day of either Master-class or performance.
Curfew: 23:00.
After show bass party for all: 23:00 – 01:00.

The low-down goal is clear and simple: -
Provide an all-day national event created by Bassists for Bassists.
Provide the public with access to master-classes and performances from world-class Bassists.
Provide opportunities for the public to informally meet world-class Bassists and to gain advice.
Provide an opportunity for the public to be exposed to various genres of music from the world of Bass playing.
Provide opportunities for Bassists to come together to develop a community and networking forum on a national, European and worldwide basis.
Provide exposure for artists through various UK media streams direct to the Bass playing community and beyond.
Provide opportunities to purchase recorded repertoire from some of the worlds top-flight Bass players and related acts.
Provide enrichment opportunities for music students.
Have FUN and make new friends in the Bass world!
