The web-site only has 1-3? No Issue #4.

I never could get that ebook thing to work worth a crap. Has it gotten any better?

No, it's not very user friendly for reading. But then again, that's the point right...buy the printed version.

This issue looks like it has a ton of great info. I may actually have to break down and buy a subscription.

Bass Player mag issues keep getting smaller and the content has been somewhat lacking, IMO. I know Jonathan has addressed this in past issues with it being a result of advertisers not spending money. But hopefully things will bounce back so both Bass Gear mag and Bass Player mag can coexist and still keep advertiser dollars and subscription sales where they need to be. Oh well, I'm ranting...but still a valid concern at least from my limited point of view.

The new online versions has it's downsides, but it's nowhere near as slow and annoying as the old format.

That's what I've noticed. I could actually use the online version this time around. The older version was extremely slow. I am impressed by the improvement! I still like having the hard copy version of the magazine so I'm excited to get it in the mail.

It looks like it will be full of great reads!

Yes, best issue yet! There are just a whole bunch of great reads in there, and the Will Lee interview was fantastic. The new version was much easier for me to navigate. All good stuff.

Howdy, folks! Many thanks for the kind words and for the folks who helped provide the links to the current issue. I am out here at the Winter NAMM Show, so I haven't been able to go online much.

Yes, we have a new e-mag format. It is still not ideal, but I do think it is an improvement over the old one. With Apple poised to enter the digital magazine/newspaper/book delivery market, I am hesitant to invest heavily in another e-mag provider before I figure out what Apple is going to have in place. But the current e-mag should load faster. We have also tried to make it easier for people to access the online versions (no password required) and to share the e-mag.

Again, thanks for the kind words and support!

Tom.

I got the email a couple days ago. FWIW, the e-mag format was MUCH better that the last format you used. My only complaint was that I wished it could be a little bigger on the screen. Even when I clicked on a page to enlarge/zoom, it was still just a bit on the small side for my crappy vision.
