Just a discussion of what gender you'd think a bass would be. My contribution - Low pitch voice and tall compared to a guitar's high pitch squeal and short neck. My basses are male. What about yours?

Some seem to say..."play me softly" while other say... "play me like I owe you money".

In fact I'm inclined to go the other way and calling my demure sexy bass a female (excuse the implicit sexism please) and my rock and roll electric guitar a male.

Some times it works amazingly, some times you get bewildering results and have to give up... reminds me of most of my ex girlfriends, so I am going to say bass is a female.
