Bass manufactures in the USA and Canada?
I'm having a problem googling this info. Anyone know what companies(factories) make basses in the us and canada? And I'm not talking about fender or gibson, I mean no name factories that actually make instruments for various brands. Do they exist in the us? Or only in Asia?

Godin guitars and basses are made in Canada and assembled in the US.

If you're referring to companies like Matsumoku in Japan, and Peerless (Ithink) in China, then the only ones I can think of who might qualify are Mighty Mite and Warmoth. They make authorized parts, but whole basses to be sold under another name? Can't think of anybody. There used to be companies in Europe, as well, who made stuff for sale under other names in the '60s; don't think anyone there does it any more, though. :hmm:
