Bass Pedalboards (no, not that kind...)

Hey!

I'm looking for info on bass pedalboards like the foot pedal (keyboard) manual on an a church organ. Roland has one like this: http://www.axemusic.com/product.asp?...4167&PT_ID=137
As well, Moog had one called the Moog Taurus or something. Some bass dude with a band called Rush

used one. Some questions to any who may know: Are they all strictly controllers with no on-board sounds (exception to the Moog), or do some come with built-in tones? How much do these units typically cost?

I did a lot of researching and ended up buying the roland pk-5 and a roland sh-32 synth to run it. I got em both off ebay. Like this one.

It works awesome. I wish i had more time to learn the programming end of the synth so I could change some appegiator stuff.

Ive been getting into the same thing I'm pretty happy with my bass tone and equipment so i decided to look into a new toy. I found a set of midi bass pedals on ebay for around $100 and then i found a Roland JV-2080 for $175 but i think were really good deals. The Roland has 8 slots for expansion cards one of which has a patch called...you guessed it Moog Taurus :-D
