In an earlier thread here, I posted a few times about my efforts to get a missing issue sent to me. It took a while, and there were several e-mails between myself, Jonathan Herra (editor of BP), and others at BP's parent company. Anyway, yesterday I received my missing July issue. And they sent me some very very nice gifts in addition. No, they didn't send me a new Jazz bass, but they did send me a T-shirt and a great messenger bag.

As I'd publicly shared the failures I'd expreienced, it's only right to share the postives too.

BTW, I'm glad I pursued this- even though I don't really pay attention to Phish, Mike Gordon's always got something to say that makes me really look at music and how I approach it. Plus this issue has a transcription of "What's The Buzz" (from Rice/Lloyd-Webber's "Jesus Christ, Superstar") and a great article on Alan Spenner, the bassist.

John
