Bass Player subscription--what do you pay?

It's that time of year again.

My subscription lapsed this month.
I started getting (the first of many) renewal notices six months ago (annoying enough). I forget what the highest price was, but I think it was over $25.00 for a year.
A couple of days ago I get the email offer: $15 for one year/$24 for two.

Every year, same thing.

I've been an off-n-subscriber of Bass Player magazine for many years (with more years on than off) and I've felt the same frustration.

The last time I renewed, I let the subscription run out, then got a new one in my wife's name. Same address, same email, but like you said, I got 2 years for $24, compared to $25 for a single year.

I like the interviews and product reviews, but they keep using the same photos over and over and over again. They keep using a photo of Chuck Rainey that I remember seeing in Guitar Player magazine back in the 1970s!
