Bass Player Subscriptions on eBay

I was trolling around eBay and noticed a few sellers offering one year subscriptions to Bass Player magazine for $33.97. I can get a sub from the Bass Player web site for $18.99. Is anybody really stupid enough to pay nearly double for a sub on eBay? Who do they think they're fooling?

Ok. Don't tell me any of you guys actually fell for it and bought a subscription for twice the going rate!

The person who buys that offer needs to re-evaluate their internet search skills...

There are oodles of magazine offers online. I think it's just good sense to check the magazine site first. Sometimes a magazine will have multiple offers and you have to keep your eye out for the best one. IIRC the last time I renewed my BP subscription it was cheaper to use their website than the "you're so special" renewal offer they mailed to me. (which reminds me - it's time to re-up again).

edit - The bassplayer . com link to subscribe is dead, that may be an issue.

I tried it earlier today and it was working.

Im tempted now, $18.99 + $25 postage, and its still less than half the price id usually pay!
