The bass and the prom date
 

I'm trying to impress this girl I like whom which I am already taking to prom. Are their any songs that I could play that would impress her. I'm not talking about stuff technically difficult but something that sounds beautiful.

on bass? sorry no free lunch here....

js bach, prelude to solo cello? it's been ripped off..err i mean borrowed by somebody recently. so, (1) it'll be something you can play on bass, (2) that is a pc of music that she's maybe familiar with, (3) that isn't simply a phrase or two that seemingly repeat forever (without the melodic instruments over the top of it to give it context).
