Bass shops in northern CA

I am looking for a shop that has a wide variety of bass equipment in northern CA. I would like to go and try some stuff I have never tried before, and perhaps find that new amp/bass/effect that iv'e been missing. something like Bass northwest although there in seatle would be awesome but they don't have to carry just bass gear just as long as they have a nice size selection. any suggestions

Do a search, there are at least two threads in existence on great places to go. The best? Basses Electric & Acoustic in Rancho Cordova (tell Juan Mark sent you) and Gelb in Redwood City. About as close to a BNW as you can get.
