Not sure what section to post this in so I'm just gonna throw it in here.
So I've decided I want a tattoo, it runs in the family and ive always just struggled to think of a what to get, you know something that looks good but has some significance in my life.
So after some thought I've decided on a bass clef
Attached here are some designed I thought liked pretty cool, just looking for some feedback?
Also I know that I should get what I like best blah blah, and thatll be what happens I just thought Id run it past some other bass-heads for kicks.

There have actually been tons of threads on bass clef tattoos with lots of photos and commentary, so I'd recommend checking those out to see "what worked" and "what didn't".
I don't know if the "biomechanical" style epitomized by HR Giger appeals to you, but I haven't personally seen a biomech bass clef tat yet. |

I have to explain to enough idiots as it is what the tatt means. At least with the traditional look a few non-musicians know what it is.

To be fair, I've seen that tattoo on about 6 people.

I like the one on the right. |

I say a guy with a bass clef tattoo that was carved in stone like the one in the picture but it only had one bass clef it look sick!

If you're looking for something original they can work with you to come up with a unique design you like within your price range I'm sure. |

Yeah. Have a good artist draw one up for you to your style. Never get a ready made logo off the web. Chances are 1000 people have it already. What you can do though is research art styles and antique typesets that fit your taste.

I will probably be going in to check it out tomorrow, chat with the artists for a minute or two.
Thanks a lot guys

| 6? More like 13!! I was about to make that design inked but then started digging deeper into my motives and all and came up with my own design. It's currently being worked by the tattooist of a friend .
