Bass teacher wanted in North Carolina wanted (Near Raleigh/Fayetville/Goldsboro)

I live in Goldsboro NC but I'm willing to travel 1 1/2 hours to get a bass teacher. I'd prefer if he had some sort of musical credentials. I'm into shred bass, but an willing to learn any style such as jazz, gospel, funk, reggae, etc. I'd like him to have theory under his belt and some great chops.
That stinks, no, he lives about 4 hours away from me in Charlotte. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
