Anyone deal with them? They have an interesting looking 6'er but when I emailed them I got a reply back saying they weren't accepting emails...

I have not dealt with them since they were sold to the new owner. Have you tried calling?

unfortunatly Val, the new owner has closed the shop. he's still selling gear, but he cant afford to pay rent or someone else to work for him any more because sales are so low. try calling and leaving a message, and i'm sure he'll call you back. he's a good guy, he just gets busy w/other stuff.

I called them and got a message saying to email them or call them at a different number. I emailed them and got a message saying they are not accepting new emails. I called the 2nd number they gave me and got no answer.

Anyone familiar with the STR basses they are selling?

I've dealt with Val. He's a good guy ... I bought my GS410 from his store. I didn't know they had closed. It doesn't really surprise me. Even when John DiMaggio owned it, they specialized in exotics that were typically very expensive and seemed to appeal to an elitist taste (even more elite than total hyper-elite). I think Val was trying to get some more mainstream gear in the store, but the inventory seemed awful limited to me. I don't know how they could make any money even if they turned the inventory every month.
