If he gets eliminated, I doubt I'll continue to watch.

The year or two before the American public failed to vote for Jennifer Hudson, so that's two years where the person who was clearly the best singer, hands-down, didn't win. Never paid attention since.

Because the general public are the ones who vote, you have to expect the more pop type artists to win. But look at the record sales of past contestants, and almost always the singers who didn't win, out-sell the winners.
So I think either way, win or lose, Casey will have a career now after making it this far. Not saying he didn't before, but this will definitly help. |
