As of now, what bassline(s) do you enjoy playing when you are just messing around/practicing.
Artist/song
Thanks to Rockin John, it's Johnny B. Good by Chuck Berry.
Such a fun bassline to mess around with.

This, hands down, is my favourite line to play. I actually do not feel comfortable putting down my bass without playing the endding riff at least once

I do like to focus on playing as much of the neck as possible when I'm noodling --- I'll do a riff low and then immediately do it in a few other locations/positions on the neck (keeps my ear and fretboard familiarity sharp so I can make quick transitions when playing live).

"Money" is good, people know it. Police songs are good too but IMO they don't sound that great played solo.
I'm always learning new songs, so I usually play whats familiar. I've learned and forgotten a lot of songs. It sucks when you learned a song once but have to relearn it because you forgot. |

I also like to solo over a D drone
