I placed an order with basspartsresource.com on the 26th of June, and finally got a shipping confirmation on the 8th of July. The shipping email had a tracking number and I was tracking it daily and it came out here (los angeles) was labeled undeliverable twice in a row then was shipped to Pennsylvania??? I contacted the post office and they said they're shipping it back to the sender, and I've tried calling and emailing basspartsresource, but they're not returning either. This is my first experience with this website and I was quite happy when I stumbled upon their vast selection but now I don't know what to think... Anyone know anyone there who can help me out or something? Thanks.

Problem may arise nobody blames them, but they don't care about their customers, that's something to blame... In a world of capitalism, you can take your money to another one who wants to make business with you (bestbassgear.com, stewmac.com, allparts.com, lmii.com to name a few)

| | | | I've placed about four orders with them in the last twelve months and never had a problem. However, I did try to contact them a number of times to ask a question and NEVER had my phone calls or emails returned. I would agree, their customer service seems to suck. |

Sometimes paperwork gets lost. Sometimes . . . can mean any number of problems NOT associated with the company. And it appears your problem with BPR is they shipped late and then was compounded by shipping problems outside of their control. So BPR is not entirely to blame.
Where they are to blame is when they don't have something in stock, or a part is backordered, that they drop the ball by not contacting their customers during this process. It appears as though this may be exactly what happened to you. And yes, they do have some communication problems. I know this from personal experience. And without their communications with the general public none of us can know for sure where the fault lies. In their defense, they did their best . . . but who really knows?
I think the best way to deal with any company is to contact them, or try to, before you order anything. If they show no interest in you from that point, you have not lost anything. |

If you're questions/concerns are product oriented there should be no reason you should not have been contacted. If you feel they're the only ones that can help you then send an email a day. Surely they'll get sick of seeing your name cross their path and do something . . .
There are others that can help you too . . . they are not the only players . . . *hint* |

| | | | Yea, I know the shipping problems arent their fault and they probably were just out of stock on something to make the wait long, but the communication is annoying... I guess hopefully theyll just know to send my package back because at this point it doesnt look like theyre gonna talk to me about it.

I browsed your website, and will look into it again in the future whenever I 'm looking for parts |

There has to be some serious problem with the packaging to have the shippers go to the added expense of returning to sender. And for GPR/BPR to not reply to your request you should demand action. Blast them with your emails telling them you want a refund and they will jump to get you your order or they'll have to refund your money.
How did you pay for your order? There are recourses available unless you sent a check. You have two options. Cancel your order and seek a refund. Do they have a phone number listed on their site?
Also, one area to go to is direct through their Feedback page. I've had to contact them there once when they didn't respond to my emails. Keep in mind though that THEY MAY NOT BE AWARE there is a problem. A situation where one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. An order comes in and it goes from one department to the next type of thing. Keep that in mind and try to hold your emotions in check no matter how screwed you feel.

Kinda expensive for this application if you ask me. I've seen them for a buck on ebay and about five bucks in other locations. I haven't finished adding those to my site yet but soon . . . your best bet always is to compile a list of parts. You'll save the most when ordering everything at one time . . . especially on the shipping. |
