Hello all,
I subscribed to Bass Player Magazine 3 months ago, and for the moment I haven't received anything. So, I sent two emails to their customer service.
All I got were automatic messages saying that I should receive a personal response within 72 hours. But since nothing
Has anybody succeeded in contacting the customer service ? If yes how ?
Thx !

I emailed them and told them that they didn't charge my card or send the first issue (which they were supposed to send me one month ago). They didn't reply, but they charged my card a couple days ago so I'm hoping I will receive an issue... sometime...

Subscribed on their website in early January, received an email that I should get my first issue in February. Sent an email in the middle of February asking when I could expect to see something in my PO box and received their lie about contacting me within 72 hours.
Their subscription department doesn't have a phone number, just an email address, and I'm not interested in spending my money to call a non-800 number to nag someone about buying their product. |

I sent them an email on Feb. 17, the automated message that said that they "promise an answer in 72 hours" came, and I received an answer on March 2... two weeks later. That's what it says:
Hello,
We just put the order in on 2-19-07. The first magazine will be there in about 6 weeks.
I bought this subscription as a late xmas present to myself, but now I see the first issue won't be here even for easter! Anyway... (btw, calling them wasn't really an option I wanted to use, as it would be an international phonecall, who knows of how many minutes...). OTOH, the international subscription was pretty cheap, no complaints on that front.

| | | Good to hear from all your experience.
I don't know if it's a coincidence But I've just received an email from the customer service saying that my "first issue is due to arrive at the end of the month".
We'll see |

I emailed and received an email back (72 or so hours later) that my subscription was paid through august 2009 and I shouldn't be missing any issues. I still haven't received anything.............Emailing them is annoying, if you respond to something they just sent, you get the auto responder............Yeah I could pick up the phone, but maybe they shouldn't offer email as a way to ask a question............Thinkin about ordering Bass Guitar magazine after all of this...........

| | | | Just curious around what time of the month everyone usually receives their mag. I sent in a check for a Sub, a couple weeks ago and it cleared on my account a couple days ago. I'm wondering when I should expect an issue, assuming everything works as normal, best case scenario.
I won't be too thrilled about some 6 week delay. I don't want to go buy the newest issue of a rack and then have it show up at the house later. |

| | | I emailed Bill Leigh asking about some gear in an earlier issue. I got no response at all. When they send me a subscription renewal I will respond the same way they did to me. |
