Who knows how much of our modern-day civilization will survive, or be remembered in a thousand years. Nothing lasts forever, even the records of civilization we create and leave behind will cease to exist someday. Archeologists will then have to piece together the records we leave behind, and wherever there are gaps in the records educated guesses will have to be made, such as: did Scottie Pippin play bass? Was John Lennon the drummer? Even the English language will have morphed into something we probably would not recognize as English in a thousand years.
