Beatles reunion

Sign in to disble this ad
In the 70s, it was always rumored the Fab 4 would reunite.

In the 90s, it was rumored from time to time that Harrison, Macca, and Starr would reunite (and they did for the Anthology).

Now that Harrison is dead, do you think Starr and McCartney could reunite (maybe not as the Beatles), but do a full album together, and maybe a couple shows if not a small tour? It would be special, I mean hell, why not, theyre both like 70... and havent done a proper album together since Abbey Rd.

And the tour could be great.... the band could be backed with friends and old collaborators... Eric Clapton, Klaus Voorman, Pete Best (unlikey, of course.. ok, impossible), Sean and Julian Lennon (guest apperances?)/// who knows?

neither paul nor ringo are setting the world on fire with their solo albums anymore. so i'd say no, too.

Julian sounds enough like John that something like this would probably turn out better than most people think. However, I'd say it is way too late for a reunion. I'd vote no.

Though if they did and Clapton sat in for George... That, I'd like to see. But Paul and Ringo, no.

You'd think that McCartney would love to jump at the chance to redo all the drum tracks.

No, what for?

This is as close as it gets - Ringo's 70th birthday (July 7, 2010).

I believe that McCartney is the highest grossing concert act so far this year (North America).

Paul is currently touring with Wings - actually playing the "Band on the Run" album.

Wings are going to be live on Jools Holland's Later TV programme next Tuesday!

Why would he want Ringo - he has his pick of much better drummers!!??

What about Paul and Pete Best. The Silver Beatles, reunion. That would be something.

Well Paul actually played drums on 3 Beatles track and clearly knows the benefit of a good drummer - which is why he chooses Abe Laboriel Jr. for his band !

Who needs Ringo...?
