The test of the SONG is "does it hold up to different performances, arrangements, and interpretations. And this song does. Roger's impassioned delivery of the lyric helps this version work well. The bass solo almost comes across an an unmusical sore thumb stuck in the middle. But the arrangement works because at the end of the solo Roger comes in a capella so the way the solo divides the song works very well.
