Do I get the impression you thought Limp wrote the song?

As it's their song I don't think that the word "version" really applies.

Nice Solo from Entwistle at 3:00-3:30. I don't think I've ever seen him play that particular Bass Before.

I miss Roger's hair.

I saw this on a DVD a while back. I do like it. It's different. John would be the Jesse James of bassdom if there were such a thing.

Awesome version of the song, and while I don't think Entwistle was the greatest bassist ever, he was definitely the coolest.

It's a very good performance of an excellent SONG! The test of the SONG is "does it hold up to different performances, arrangements, and interpretations. And this song does. Roger's impassioned delivery of the lyric helps this version work well. The bass solo almost comes across an an unmusical sore thumb stuck in the middle. But the arrangement works because at the end of the solo Roger comes in a capella so the way the solo divides the song works very well.

John

As for not seeing Entwistle play that bass before, I had no idea he owned more than one bass!
