WooHoo! I am stoked.

I just found out this morning that Bela Fleck & the Flecktones will be playing in Seattle on June 28th. I have been wanting to see them for a long time. Now, I have a chance. Wow, this is going to be awesome!! I just wish they were going to play in a smaller venue.

WHOA!! Just announced also is Stanley Clarke and George Duke. This is going to be an awesome few weeks!!

I just saw them here in Florida at the Pompano Amputheatre about a month ago. Went by myself. "Bella what?"

It usually takes me 90 minutes to get to Pompano from my home. I left three hours early due to rush hour traffic. It rained and it took me 3 1/2 hours to get there. Rain, traffic, construction... I was so pissed. But luck would have it that their gear was in traffic too! I got there just in time to see the openning number. And it stopped raining too!

Then three songs into the concert it started pooring. I mean those huge drops of water and hard too. The first wave of people ran to the exits (opposite direction of the stage). Within 2 seconds the second wave of people rushed the stage (there was a small overhang in the pit). I stood there for the next 90 minutes right in front of Victor. It was great; the rain only lasted 10 minutes, but I didn't move.

Rain, going by myself, traffic, being wet, driving home and going to bed at midnight (and had to get up for work at 5:30) and it was still just great! They played their asses off!

If you can go, GO!
