Benefits of GAS?

I was thinking today... I'm going through another pretty major gear change and I just started thinking about GAS. For one thing, it's building up my credit history. Between all my gear expenses and paying rent on my apartment this coming year, I'm gonna have decent credit for someone my age.

Also, I think it can give you more respect for more gear. I may be parting with my cabs, but I'll always be able to give some good advice about them to other players wondering about them... and if they ever show up in a backline, I'll know what to expect. This one isn't as secure as the first point, haha.

Anyone else have reasons to uhmmm... justify our GAS spending? :P

It can give you a good reason to get out of that marriage you've been in for too long

G.A.S. shortened to GAS for TB purposes.
Now, Gas-X is something else.
Sometimes taken for gas and for GAS.
Got it? The GAS that is.

I know my bank is grateful to me for my GAS. Because of it, they don't have waste expensive ink printing those pesky three or four digit numbers in the account balances on my monthly statements.
