I visited this one music shop at the Kulturbräuerei, JustMusic.

It was pretty big, many basses, but not anything super fancy. Lots of J's and P's and Warwicks and Ibanezes. Pretty much what you would find in any decent bigger store. And of course Sandbergs, which are quite nice German basses.

But not many six-stringers or higher end stuff, if that's what you're looking for.

The area the store is situated, Prenzlauer Berg, is worth visiting, it is very nice! Lots of cafes, bookshops and cultural stuff. Much nicer than the once destroyed and then rebuilt business-Berlin.

And one other thing, if you're interested, is the Musikinstrumentmuseum.

It is near Potsdamer Platz if I remember correctly. I was a bit dissappointed since there wasn't much music going on at that time but it has a really vast collection of old string instuments and harpsichords. If you're interested in the history of western instruments, it is the right place to go.

I think once a month the old Wurlitzer organ will be played and demonstrated.
