Best Band in the Northland (KC)

Just found out yesterday that my band, Blue Rock was named best band in the Northland (Kansas City) by a local magazine! We tied for first with another band who has been around much longer than we have. Honestly I don't even know how this happened. The guitar player said he received a phone call about a month ago from the magazine to do an interview. Hopefully this will give us an extra bit of exposure and possibly help book extra gigs!

I'm sorry, but on what planet is KC considered "The Northland"? There's about 500 more miles of I-35 North of there, not to mention Canada!
