| | | | The Best Bands, Their Worst Moments

Everybody has a favorite band. Everybody knows that there is a time when that band hits a rough period. For me, it's Rush, hands down. I am a die-hard Rush fan. However, I have to admit that they, like all bands, had songs that sucked. For me:
I Think I'm Going Bald- Caress of Steel
I think that one speaks for itself, just in the title....
Test for Echo- Test for Echo
Great music, and most of the lyrics are good, but the "hood boys" and the "gangster nation" parts just send shivers down my spine, and I sadly shake my head. Probably the most corny words that Niel Peart has ever written....
So share your favorite bands in their worst light. I think we can all be honest and laugh with eachother on these.

"All I want to do is make love to you" by HEART may be the most terrible lyrics ever written.
I've always liked Maiden's lyrics, but I think they've run out of things to say. |

But the Clansman RULES.
And Sign of the Cross is an amazing song. |

Black Sabbath - Born Again, Seventh Star, Tyr
Yes - Pretty much everything they did in the 80s, I just pretend it never happened.
Judas Priest - Point of Entry, Turbo, Ram it Down, & those albums they made with Tim Ripper Owens. I don't care for their new stuff either but I won't hate on it.
Megadeth - Risk, most of Cryptic writings, and Rust In Peace Live (Hearing Dave Mustaine with autotune made me cry)
Whatever Larry Graham & George Clinton were doing in the 80s |

I mainly dislike most of his albums following Computer Games. |

Guess I'm in a hair-splittin' mood today. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
