Best budget floorstanding speakers?

I was thinking of maybe getting some floorstanders for general hifi use.

I listen to a lot of indie, rock, screamo, dance, drumnbass, etc. I want something that wont sound muddy, but can still produce some nice bass.

Ideally, I wouldnt like to spend more than 100 pounds, so second hand is the sure option.

My dad has some Tannoy 609's which I adore, and I love my friend's Kenwood LS-90's.

I was thinking some old-school speakers like the Kenwoods...

What do you guys think?

You can't go wrong with something like that. If you're thinking new, look into the current Sony SS line. I recently got a pair of SS-F6000 floorstanders and they are outstanding. For good bass, I recommend a powerful subwoofer.
