The Best Compliment Ever.

Sign in to disble this ad
So I just started getting a band together with some guys from my college. We had a practice at their apartment tonight and were playin alot of blues and funk stuff. One of the girls that was at the apartment was deaf. They introduced me to her after practice. This is when she gives me the best compliment ever: "Your basslines feel really great."

Just thought I would share another one of the great reasons to play bass.

very very cool!

Not to be insensitive however, but I'm going to use your compliment as my standard reply when someone asks me if I'm any good at bass...I'm gonna reply "I'm the favourite bassist of deaf people all over the country!!"

Let her sit on your cab next time. It's better than dinner and a movie.

What a pickup line: "Hey, baby, wanna come over to my place and sit on my cab?"

Grab her, she actually knows the difference between a bass and a guitar. Plus, she actually knew you were playing the bass.

The number of girls who know the difference is getting smaller.

So far, Munjibunga likes and supports every post in this thread.

PS: What does it mean when someone refers to himself in the third person? My brother-in-law does it all the time.

Thats nothing.

During practice one day, the mallet coach was sitting on my amp...

She stops the song midway through and says

"Michael, I can feel your parts in my butt."

And she's hot.

You should've told her that it's because long scale basses can be felt better.

Exactly - why wait? Strike while the iron's hot (or while the cab vibrates, as the case may be).
