The whole Machine Head album

...but if I had to pick a favorite "best" it would be Lazy.

I make "best of" CD's for the car. I compress the songs, (just a little; not the dreaded "wall of sound,") and I boost kick drum and bass, because it just sounds better when I do, and sometimes I edit really long songs, especially live versions.

I am trying to make a definitive Deep Purple CD. It can only be 1.2 hours long, because that's all a disc will hold, and I don't want to do a double disc.

Already this thread has helped!

What does anyone think of any live versions of "wring that neck?"

It's nice to see some early Purple on the list - especially "Why Didn't Rosemary?" and "Hush" - I'll add "Kentucky Woman" to that list (IMO THE Classic Rock Hammond organ solo by the late, great, Jon Lord).

Personal Favourite: "Lazy"

Maybe I'm A Leo is one our band has been playing, the breaks are tricky when someone misses, can really ruin the vibe...
