Best earbuds for bass? guitar? drums?

Sign in to disble this ad
I play the bass at my church - sometimes drums when I have to (like tonight). Right now, we're using an Aviom 16 system with crappy headphones. It's terrible. What are the best earbuds for our respective selves? I've heard Shure E3 for bass and maybe E2 for guitar. I'm not sure about for drums, though. Thanks.

I have been using IEM for 4 years now and we also using the Aviom system. I play 50 weekends a year at a theater. What I am saying is that I use them alot!! I originally started with the Shure E-5's. Then moved to the Westone UM-2's which I liked better. However, For the past year I have been using Sensaphonics 2X-s custom molds. They are more expensive but worth it if you use them all the time. If not I would recommend the UM-2's. Also get a good pre-amp.

Yeah, man, I play twice a week regularly. I think I've decided on the Ultimate Ear EB5. What about for drums and guitar? Would just an E3 be all right?

Good Luck

Anything comparable to the Westone UM2 but in the $125 range? Anything good for drums in the $125 range as well? Thanks.

Etymotic Er6's are really good for the price. They are monitors, so its flat sound. Don't expect to get exaggerated bass, its clean even frequency response across most of the frequency spectrum. PM for more info.
