I am still having issue picking out a bag for my LEJ..........I was going to order a Probag leather, but his site is jacked up and I cant seem to get it to work for me. NTM, I got a weird vibe talking with the owner on the phone today.......However, if a Probag is "the bag" for my LEJ, then I can go that route if need be.
After my Probag woes, I looked at the Mono bags again. I REALLY like the Mono Wingman http://www.monocase.com/store/pc/vie...=4&idproduct=8 - The only thing that scares me about the Mono M80 or Wingman is the fit, will it be sloppy??? I read a previous thread during my search of a couple people warning that the Mono case fit was a tad on the loose side. I dont want to spend a couple hundo on a case that fits my bass sloppy..........If the Mono is snug, then screw the Probag. However, I need more assurance the Mono is snug.
And the Sadowsky.......this bag would be most pimp, but they are out of stock. I think this bag would fit my bass just fine. I suppose I should call Roger and find out when they are due a shipment......still leaning towards the Mono due overall size, but the Sadowsky bag is pimp.
Last but not least is the iGIG G315..... http://www.mikobass.com/Shop/iGIG/G315.htm ....not much info on this guy. I dunno if I like this bag as much as the other three, but it looks like it would be a snug fit w/ plenty of pocket space. |

If pocket space is key for you, the iGig is the thing. I really like the Mono a lot, but the pocket space is relatively limited. Plenty for your 'bass stuff', but not much more if you carry pedals and a bunch of other stuff. |

One very nice feature is that it 'locks' the neck into the bag. The bag is a perfect fit for the LEJ - enough room to put the bass in easily, not enough for the bass to wiggle around inside.

They hope to have more instock by the end of August, but they agreed that it could be well into September by the time they see more bags.....NTM, the bag specs out to $250 after shipping costs I really want to like the iGIG bags (cant beat the price on the G315, $120 shipped), but the Mono is calling to me. I think the Mono bags are far more attractive then the iGIG bags. Plus, the Mono bags "appear" to be better in quality (just a subjective observation during my internet window shopping). There is a dealer near me........kind of a hike........but I will be able to check them out in person. He has the Wingman and M80 both instock. |

It felt more like my leather LEJ bags. Thinking about selling igig & getting mono. Wow, I got mono. LOL!!!!
