Which is the best guitar stand that is NOT eating nytro finishes and suits assymetrical bodies like Jazz Basses?

This?:

Thanx!

Seriously man, I have a $15 guitar stand made by Ashton (one of the worst companies in existance) and it does the job just fine. All a stand needs is some type of squishy padding, and three legs to make it stay upright. Just buy a cheapo.

I bought one normal before and guess what?? I'm never using it. My bass lays on bed all the time and I put it in case at night.

I have 3 basses, 1 case. My Stingray belongs in its case AT ALL TIMES when it is not being used. My Washburn sits neglected on it's stand and never gets used. And my Ibanez is always on my bedroom floor.

I had a cheapo that was eating up my finish from my HWY1 Jazz Bass, because of the rubber padding. Then I bought a small Ibanez, like this :

That didn't fit my Jazz Bass and i have to take sooo much care when I put my bass on it, and now I want to buy a really good one.

Do you have a bed on stage? (joke)

I really like the Hercules mini-stand for playing out. Folds up small and is surprisingly stable. I have no idea if it eats nitro finishes.

Yes, Hercules may also be an option. Thanks!

It's nice, but I think it won't fit my assymetrical body...

Does it have a rubber top? This is not good for my nitro finish.

If the rubber or foam on any stand causes problems with your finish, wrap a piece of a diaper around it.

I just want foam instead of diaper.
Hercules has it, does the GS also have it?

Agreed! I have a 3-way Hercules that I use both onstage and at home. It has protected my basses flawlessly.

I haven't used it with any nitro finishes, but I note that the Hercules Mini-Stand promo materials touts the fact that they are finish-friendly.

Hercules uses foam, not rubber and therefore should be nitro-friendly.

Actually on a stage I put my bass on me, usually with leather strap and it stays there.
