Best online dealers.

So who has the best deals/prices in your experience of the reputable online dealers?

I've dealt with several in the past and I've had a good experience with BassNW. However, the best prices I have gotten is by googling and getting MF to do a price match. Plus they have a great return policy. Any other places I should check out?

I've dealt with Basscentral several times and have nothing but good things to say about Beaver and his crew!

Johnny, I am asking basically the same question in the amp section. No good replies yet. I have spoken with Beaver at Basscentral and he was very helpful. Their prices appear to be competitive. Heard good things about The Low end, The perfect Bass. That is about all I know.

i've found gregg at van gelder music to be very good to deal with and offers great prices... and also jay at guitarfactory.

kind of sad but for me it's cheaper not to buy at bass northwest as they charge me taxes and on a big purchase that can add up. i end up purchasing outside of washington.

I just ordered my 2nd bass from Bass Central. They're great. Musician's Friend isn't bad either, IMO. There is also The Perfect Bass and Bass Northwest. Here's an easy way to get a good number: back of a Bass Player magazine.

The Perfect Bass by far. Awesome prices, awesome customer service, and just overall good vibes come off of them.

I have had great experiences dealing with both the Groove Shoppe (dealt with David) and the Perfect Bass (dealt with Brandt). I would highly recommend either place to anyone.

God I miss LA Bass Exchange. They were the best.

I have bought online from Music 123 and Musician's Friend, but not basses. Music 123 was okay, Musician's Freind charged me tax after claiming they weren't going to. I won't use them again.

For basses, I have dealt mail order with Bass NW (before I moved to Seattle), Bass Central, and LA Bass Exchange. Both Bass NW and Bass central were absolutely, positively fantastic. Bass NW is also great to deal with in person. You can't go wrong with either of them.

Scott at Chicago Music Exchange actually knows what he is talking about. He always has a great selection of old basses at affordable prices.
