| Best parcel service to ship a cabinet to Australia?

Well I finally bit the bullet and listed my Ampeg 4x10 on ebay stating that I would prefer local pickup but that I WOULD ship if the buy was willing to pay the shipping costs. I got an e-mail yesterday asking how much shipping would be to Australia, the estimates on all the big name sites were pretty crazy (between 400 and 700 bucks for shipping) and I told him that. He went ahead and used the buy it now option, however, so now I've got to figure out how to get it down there.
So, those of you in Australia, what have you found to be the cheapest/fastest/most reliable way of getting your new gear down to you? Thanks for the help. |
