Best performance of my entire life!!!

I did my first proper church performance last Sunday.


It was a dedication ceremony which I'd never done before. Usually for these morning services we'll have around 7 songs. For the dedications we'll also have a song chosen by the family of some significance to them.

Now I hadn't worked with the band I played with before then. So I was initially a bit cautious. But after setting up and working out some key changes and other issues, we practivced the songs.

We then played the service to a packed congregation. Because it was a special event the room was packed, some 450 people, far more than we would normally have.

It was absolutely amazing. I played a lot faster and better than I thought I could and really locked with the drummer and piano/guitars. My tone was absolutely excellent and seemed to cut through the other instruments really well.

In short, it rocked!
