For me, it has easily been the Gruv Gear V-Cart Solo. I used many foldable carts in the past, and this one by far is the best. Easy to set up, many different configurations, very stable (as in, you don't worry about it tipping over with your amp when you're turning a corner, or going up and over a curb or any type of slant) and rock solid. Many people shy at or poo-poo the price, but I have honestly not found a cart that compare at all.

I was saying this all prior to my endorsement with them, and it hasn't stopped. It's a great piece of gear.

You've got to admit that there's a ton of killer gear available nowadays for under $500. This is the Golden Age of Gear we're living in!

K-Yairi steel string acoustic I bought off a mate in 1983. He was going to pawn it and offered it to me for $200. I've never driven so fast in my life - I loved that guitar then, and I still love it.

Carvin BX500... Tascam DP-008... And for $100 a 4 channel Mackie mixer that gets a lot of use and is a very handy tool to have around.
