Best RHCP tribute band?

I think they're really good, I just don't like how they're trying to BE rhcp (same clothes, guitars etc).

EDIT: Is the guitarist using a Gretsch White Falcon, or just something that looks like one?

If you ask me part of being a "tribute band" as opposed to a "cover band" is dressing up like the real band. But that might be more opinion than anything...

Hello Man, I am the lead singer of the band.
Sorry, but I cannot understand your point of view.
Do you like the band but don't like the same clothes ?
Is a contradiction.

We don't wanna BE RHCP. Never ever tried...

We make a homage for the band and Fans and try to reproduce the concerts. I am away on the stage like a FAN singing the songs of the band that I love and enjoying it.

The people that pay to have fun and listen the RHCP songs like of that "artistic" part, the prodution of the concert.

Many people don't have the oportunity to see a concert of RHCP live. We try to bring a little of their energy.

But, if you DON'T LIKE of Tribute bands is another thing.

You can start to talk this for everybody, for example:

Dios Salve a la Reina

ZEN GARDEN - Intercontinental U2 Tribute Show

and, many, many, many, many others.

Anyway, Thank you for the comment !

Cheers !

By the way, the guitar used a Ibanez Semi Acoustic that looks like a Gretsh.
Tribute Bands even in top level don't earn money enough to buy a White Falcon.

I gotta say, you guys are awesome. I love the chilipeppers, and you pulled off that song almost flawlessly. My friend who's over thought it was the peppers on so that's gotta count for something. I'd love to see you live honestly. Looks like a lot of fun. Also, is the bassist DavidSinRocks on youtube? Looks really familiar.

I like tribute bands, at the Celebrate Fairfax fair there was a german hair metal tribute band called Herr Metal. They played Poison and Kiss and random stuff. It was fun, and they dressed up and went all out. Plus the bassists stage name was Schnitzel which is pretty awesome.

Yes, he is an Awesome "player" but really bad character. He brought many problems for the band and members. The project theres was 7 years before he joined with the same line up, he was in the band only 8 months. We also found some messages and knew that he used it to promote himselve even more, since we made shows in different countries. In the past he had trouble with the police in his town for theft.

Play with him was good, but he is not a complete artist and is not ready for the success. If he were a little more humble would be more to get it.

Cheers !!!

Sometimes a band needs a rotten apple. Flea wasn't exactly a choir boy. Good luck with the band. Sounds great. Cheers.

I was just thinking that. Were I to hire on to be in a RHCP "Tribute" band, I'd have to lose some LBs!

They are surely the best RHCP tribute band I've seen.

That's quite shocking, he's always seemed nice when i've asked him questions on youtube and stuff. His youtube videos practically showed me how to play when I started. huh.

I'd love to be in a tribute band one day. Depends what the theme was though. Chili peppers would be hard just for the energy and learning the songs and being able to play while going crazy but it would be fun because they have such a wide variety of songs and styles.
There's a local group searching for a bassist on craigslist for a police tribute. To me that seems so boring even though I love the Police.
