Ok, the end of the year is approaching. What are TBer's favs for 2009? Doesn't have to be your favorite because of the bass, but of course that won't hurt. Any genre welcome, the only rule is it has to have been released in 2009.

I heavily enjoyed Tegan and Sara's Sainthood album, every song off of that was good.
The Mars Volta's Teflon is SWEET.
Exist by Born of Osiris takes the cake for my new favorite progressive deathcore song.
Embryonic by the Flaming Lips was also a good album.
Between the Buried and Me's The Great Misdirect was a good album showcasing their diversity.
Though... I would say Teflon by Mars Volta was one of the best of the year. |
