Personally, I love when a good song is made better with the simplest form of music known to man: Hand claps (and they can come in handy if you're too lazy to walk all the way to the light switch)
Post some songs that you think make the best use of hand-clapping. Here's mine:
Weather Report--Birdland"
Queen--"Find Me Somebody to Love" (a little hard to hear, but it comes in at about 3:00)
King Crimson--"One More Red Nightmare"
I know there's a lot more, but I can't think of them right now. CLAP CLAP

I laughed so hard I got a stomach ache! |

In particular, D'angelo's album 'voodoo' and both of Dwele's albums have many cuts using this. Fat jon uses clapping a fair amount, as do many others, it's fairly common place.
Steve reich has some excellent clapping in many of his compositions, notably: Clapping music and Tehillim.
The clapping in 'spain' always made me smile.
Flamenco music has some very neat rhythmic clapping that moves the music as much as anything else. There is actually a defined rhythmic theory behind the clapping in flamenco music, all I know is it's very syncopated.
and of course... hey mickey you're so fine
