Best value light weight PA on the market?

i've been dabbling in buying a little PA, something that i could setup myself for a 4 piece band to do medium size gigs and could load into the back of a wagon, there has been some excellent new gear hitting the market lately in the JBL and Mackie camp.

Do you have any recommendations?


i am thinking active speakers on each side , a 18 inch active sub...2 active fold backs and a mixer

QSC k series speakers and a decent mixer will get you there

+ 1 on the K Series line . In addition a Yamaha mixer goes well with this system.
